Students with driving experience are assessed over 90 minutes using a comprehensive schedule to record current skill level and experience on various road and traffic conditions. We start with a discussion to learn about each other and project when they would like to take a practical test. We discover how clients learn (i.e. kinaesthetic, visual, auditory) This process should answer all your questions and ensure your needs will be met.
Each 1- 2 hour lesson organically increases competency, confidence and independence on residential, busy urban, dual carriageways and rural/ semi- rural roads.
We usually incorporate at least one specific activity which may include one of the 3 statutory reverse manoeuvres or the controlled emergency stop.
Our primary objective is teaching clients to drive in a safe manner, our secondary objective involves teaching a chronological syllabus and providing insight on how to pass the practical test.
we endeavour to arrange regular weekly/ bi-weekly lessons. Progress is recorded and monitored via a folder incorporating a set of terms and conditions, lesson timetable and a training record sheet.
Towards the end of the process we offer a ‘mock’ test marked in line with standards set by DSA examiners to ensure students are ready and prepared for the pressure they may feel on the day of the practical test.
Lessons start as early as 07.00 finishing at 7pm week days and from 08.00 - 2.00 Saturday
48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule a pre- booked lesson.
In the event that I have to cancel without adequate notice you will receive a free hour at your convenience. (Not applicable for mechanical faults or recorded traffic congestion.
